Assistant Coordinator — 2024-2025

The Assistant Coordinator provides student care and programmatic support and works with other USP staff members under the USP Director to achieve the overall aims and objectives of the Uganda Studies Program. The Assistant Coordinator reports to the Director of the Uganda Studies Program. Program Assistant — 2024-2025
 
The USP Program Assistant position is an exciting opportunity to work alongside USP staff, to learn and grow in a cross-cultural work environment and to be a part of the on-going development of the Uganda Studies Program and its 3 emphases: Global Health, Social Work and the Interdisciplinary Emphasis. This 10-month experience provides a variety of professional development opportunities, as Program Assistants are an active part of the USP staff, working closely with USP students during their semester-abroad at Uganda Christian University. Program Assistants are a vital part of decision-making, and supporting and implementing decisions once they are made. Program Assistants provide a Christian example to USP students in attitude and conduct and are an important part of USP’s efforts to mentor students in spiritual, academic and interpersonal settings.  Deadline: Application materials should be submitted by 28 February 2024. 
Notification: Applicants will be notified by 01 April 2024.

We are looking for recent alums to engage in a variety of activities or events to get the word out about the USP. It could be anything from a large event, to creating a YouTube video, or even just setting up a one-on-one meeting. Some activities are volunteer, and some are paid. Transcripts

Policies:
  • ALLOW AMPLE TIME FOR PROCESSING AND DELIVERY! Requests take between 2 and 5 days to fulfill in addition to Postal Service delivery time.
  • At this time, we do not have the ability to produce official electronic transcripts. (Though we can send a PDF copy via email at your request, most universities will not accept this as an official document.)
  • USP is not responsible for orders that are lost or delayed by mail carriers. For non-express delivery orders, we cannot guarantee the transcript’s arrival date or time.
Fees:
If we have a transcript on file for you in our US office we will send it (regular mail) at no cost. Transcripts that need to be reissued from Uganda Christian University will incur a cost of $20.00 each (and may take up to a month to arrive). Postage may be extra for DHL or other quicker services. Our USP office will be in touch once you complete this form to let you know if there will be a cost to you.
